This project is a proposal to study the Ausdruckstanz movement through the work of one of its most known practitioners, Mary Wigman. The project pursues both a corporeal research by studying the technique developed by Wigman and a theoretical research directed at understanding the relation of that dance practice with its socio-cultural context.
