Franziska Aigner

Franziska Aigner, born in Salzburg/Austria in 1985 has graduated from PARTS/Brussels in June 2008. During her studies she has broadened her interest in the Performing Arts, participating in a number of productions that range from making dance performances to publishing articles on Performing Arts. She has made her own work throughout her four years of study, collaborating with different people in different functions. In 2008 she presented the piece Throwing Rocks with Gabriel Schenker that is touring successfully.

In 2009, Franziska will engage in producing the new-formed collective Busy Rocks. Busy Rocks will premiere two pieces in 2009, a new duet of Franziska and Gabriel called Under the Influence (Premiere on the 22. March at Imagetanzfestival Vienna) and a quintet with all the Busy Rocks members called Dominos and Butterflies (Premiere on the 1. April at Monty, Antwerp). Further more she will work with swiss choreographer Alexandra Bachzetsis on her new production Bluff.
